Meet the Board Slate Juneau Reception

Sealaska tribal member shareholders are invited to join Sealaska Corporation for a reception Wednesday, June 17, 2009. This is an opportunity to meet the Sealaska board slate candidates, hear their comments and talk one-on-one with Sealaska directors who are up for re-election. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sealaska 36th Annual Meeting

The 36th annual meeting of Sealaska shareholders will be held in Sitka on Saturday, June 27, 2009. The meeting will officially begin at 1 p.m. Alaska time at Harrigan Centennial Hall. The purposes of the meeting are to hear a report on Sealaska’s business operations and activities for 2008, elect five directors whose terms will expire at the annual meeting in 2012 and vote on two resolutions.

There is plenty of activity before the gavel drops at 1 p.m. The Shareholder Fair opens and registration begins at 10 a.m. and candidate speeches start at 10:30 a.m. A dance group will open the session at approximately 12:45 p.m. Door prizes will be available to those attending in person.

Participate in the Annual Meeting from Home

Once again Sealaska will host its annual meeting live via webcast! We encourage all shareholders who are unable to attend the annual meeting in-person to participate in the annual meeting online. Go to www.sealaska.com starting at 10 a.m. Alaska daylight time and follow the link to the webcast. Register to participate in the meeting’s question and answer period and to be eligible for special door prizes drawn for tribal member shareholders participating via webcast.

Tribal member shareholders attending the annual meeting via webcast will not be able to submit ballots for votes on resolutions or to elect directors. To cast votes for the annual meeting your proxy must be received by the independent Inspectors of Election and Voting by mail or fax prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. Sealaska’s 2008 Annual Report

Sealaska mailed the 2008 Annual Report to tribal member shareholder households on April 28, 2009. Annual reports are produced in accordance with the State of Alaska Division of Banking, Securities and Corporations law. The annual publication is distributed to tribal member shareholder households each spring, prior to the shipment of annual election materials. Each report contains independently audited financials from the previous year and written reports from the board and management.
